Our story
Aurora opened in 2022 by stylists Mia and Elena, who wanted a salon that didn't rush — longer bookings, real consultations, and products they were happy to use on their own families.
The room sits four chairs, three colour stations, and a wash space designed for comfort. Chapel Street is loud; the salon is quiet. It's a bit of a hide-away and we like it that way.
How we work
Cuts, colour, blow-dries, and treatments. Our colour work leans natural — balayage, sun-kissed lived-in tone — but we'll happily do brights and corrections by consultation. Every colour service includes a gloss finish and a bond-repair treatment.

Frequently asked
How far in advance should I book?
For cuts and blow-dries, a week is usually fine. For colour or balayage we recommend 3–4 weeks, especially for weekends. If you're in a rush, call us — we sometimes have cancellations.
What if it's my first visit?
Please arrive 10 minutes early for a short consultation. We'll walk through your hair history, goals, and any colour you've had before — it helps us plan the right service and pricing.
What's your cancellation policy?
Full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before. Within 24 hours we charge 50% of the booked service; no-shows are charged in full. We send a reminder SMS two days before.
What products do you use?
We're partial to brands that are vegan, cruelty-free, and colour-safe — Kevin Murphy, Davines, Olaplex. All our treatment and retail products are listed at the counter and available to take home.
Can I just book a consultation?
Absolutely. 20-minute consultations are free and a good idea for colour change, corrections, or if you're new to us. Book online or give us a call.
